Men's soccer and Wofford battles to 2-2 tie

SPARTANBURG, S.C.- - Junior Tommy Krizanovic scored a goal and added an assist, but Wofford scored a second half goal to force the Jacksonville men's soccer team to a 2-2 tie, Tuesday night in Spartanburg, S.C.
Trailing 1-0 in the first half, the Dolphins (6-9-2, 2-4-1 A-Sun) tied the game by sophomore Anton Axelsson scoring his ninth goal of the season from assists by Krizanovic and freshman Patrik Werner. Three minutes later, Krizanovic scored his team-leading 15th goal of the season on corner kick with an assist by junior Bojan Milicevic to give the Dolphins a 2-1 advantage.
The Terriers (5-10-3) tied the game in the second half at 20-minute mark with Joel Kozak scoring the goal.
The Dolphins out shot Terriers in overtime seven to four, but they were unable to breakthrough for a win.
Junior goalie Gerrit deBoer had five saves for the Dolphins.
The Dolphins wrap up the regular season at home on Friday against cross-town rival UNF at 7 p.m.
