JACKSONVILLE, Fla. - The Jacksonville University men's soccer team looks to get back in the win column on Friday as the squad competes in the Wingate Inn Classic in Rock Hill, S.C.

The Dolphins (2-4) open the tournament with host Winthrop at 7:30 p.m. before finishing on Saturday against Radford at 2 p.m.

"We are coming off an exhausting week by playing four games in seven days," said JU head coach Mike Johnson. "Our kids are excited to play against quality teams in the tournament this weekend because there is something at stake. We need to get back on the winning page and it starts on Friday with Winthrop."

Last week, the Dolphins dropped two of the three games they played. Senior Tommy Krizanovic scored three goals in the Dolphins' 4-0 victory over Georgia State to win the JU-Nike Invitational on Sept. 4.

On Sept. 8, Wright State scored three unanswered goals to down the Dolphins, 3-2, at the Ashley Sports Complex. JU later fell to Flagler, 3-0, a day later in St. Augustine.

Despite the two losses, Krizanovic was named Atlantic Sun Offensive "Player of the Week" on Sept. 11 after tallying four goals and eight points in three games. He is also tied for the national lead with nine goals on the year.
