Men's soccer falls in second overtime to Radford , 2-1
Radford scored the golden goal in the second overtime to down the Jacksonville University men's soccer team, 2-1, on Saturday afternoon at Rock Hill, S.C. in the final day of the Wingate Inn Classic.

"That was another tough loss we suffered today," said JU head coach Mike Johnson. "It seems like all year we have been really unlucky. I told the guys to continue working hard because pretty soon the breaks will come our way."

With the score deadlocked at one apiece, Tyler Leveski gave the Highlanders (4-3) the game- winning goal by scoring inside the back post off a corner from Jeremy Delpino less than three minutes into the second overtime period.

The Dolphins gained an early 1-0 advantage in the first half when senior Tommy Krizanovic scored his 12th goal of the season on an assist from sophomore Ramak Niakan safi.

Paul Caruso tied the game for the Highlanders on an unassisted goal with less than two minutes remaining in the game to force overtime.

Senior goalkeeper Chad Comroe managed nine saves in the game for the Dolphins.

Despite the loss, the Dolphins managed three players on the all-classic team. Krizanovic took home Offensive MVP accoaldes after scoring three goals in two games, while sophomore Patrik Werner and freshman Stefan Runeman also earned a spot on the all-tournament team.

The Dolphins return to action at the Ashley Sports Complex on Sunday, Sept. 24 against former Atlantic Sun rival Florida Atlantic at 2 p.m.
