2009: Played in all 17 matches as a junior…finished second on the team in goals (4), assists (2) and shots on goal (16)…named to the Soccer for a Cure Classic all-tournament team after scoring a goal against Winthrop (9/4)…had the lone goal against Alabama A&M (9/25)…added an assists in against College of Charleston (9/25) and FGCU (10/4)…scored the only goal vs. UNF (10/6)…also had a goal against ETSU (10/25).
2008: Played in 16 matches off the bench as a sophomore…ranked fourth on the team in scoring with four goals…scored the game-winning OT goal against Louisville (11/21) to help JU earn its first NCAA Tournament win in school history...also had an assist in the A-Sun Championship win vs. Campbell (11/15)…scored a goal in consecutive road wins against Stetson (10/17) and Florida Gulf Coast (10/19)…recorded first goal of the season in 3-2 win at USC Upstate (10/3).
2007: Played in all 20 games in midfield as a freshman, including 14 starts…finished tied for second on the team in goals (3) and tied for fourth in points (7)…scored all three of his goals in conference play after finding the net against Florida Gulf Coast (10/12), North Florida (10/17) and Belmont (10/28)…also tallied an assist against Presbyterian (10/19)…his goals against Florida Gulf Coast and Belmont proved to be the game-winners.
High School: Started four years at Wolfson High School under head coach Todd Tinsley...led team to a combined 77-30-5 record, including a trip to the state final four his junior season...named team offensive "Player of the Year" all four seasons after leading his team in scoring each year...named first team all-state after scoring 24 goals senior year...scored a key goal in his team's victory in the 5A all star game...named second team all state and first team all gateway after scoring 32 goals his junior season...earned all gateway honors his sophomore season...scored 14 goals his freshman year and earned "Rookie of the Year" honors...played club soccer at the Jacksonville Jaguars soccer club.
Personal: Born Nov. 5, 1988, in Zvornik, Bosnia...son of Agon and Mina ..has a sister, Aida; and twin brother; Nurdin., who was a member of the JU men’s soccer team from 2007-08...majoring in international business.
