2013: Awarded All-Atlantic All-Conference Second Team and Academic All-Conference honors ... Played in 12 games including eight starts ... Tied for first in goals scored on the team with four, three of which were recorded in conference matchups ... Netted 2 goals in JU's 2-1 win over Mercer on Oct. 13.

Prior to JU:  Spent two seasons at William Carey University...sat out his first season due to injury...scored nine goals and two assists as a sophomore leading team to the NAIA final four while being named to the NAIA National Tournament first team.

High School:  Played his junior and senior seasons for Montverde Academy after moving from Brazil...in 17 games as a junior, recorded 22 goals and seven assists...followed with a 28 goal, 17 assist performance in his senior season while being named to the All-Central Florida team as well has team captain.

Personal:  Born on Nov. 15, 1991 in Braga, Portugal...son of Luiz Carlos Saroli (Caio Junior) and Adriana Saroli...father played soccer professionally in Brazil and Portugal and now the manager of Bahia Football Club...has a younger brother named Gabriel.
