As a Freshman (2007):Named second team all-conference after making 14 appearances including 11 starts in goal for the Dolphins…also was named to the all-freshman team…equaled a conference record after being named Atlantic Sun Defensive “Player of the Week” on three occasions…first earned the honors on Sept. 4 after making a career high nine saves in his collegiate debut, helping the Dolphins upset Loyola-Chicago (9/2)…received the award on Oct. 15 after shutting out Florida Gulf Coast (10/12) and Stetson (10/14)…claimed the honors a third time on Oct. 29 after helping the Dolphins clinch the regular season title after shutting out Lipscomb (10/26) and Belmont (10/28), while recording eight saves in each game…recorded four shutouts on the season, all in conference play…made 50 saves on the season and registered a 1.29 goals-against-average.

As a Redshirt (2006): Sat out the 2006 season as a redshirt.

For­­­­est High School: Three-year starter at Forest High School under Jack Belcher and Charlie Maguire…helped the Wildcats win three consecutive district championships, including posting two 20-win seasons in his sophomore and junior years…as a senior, earned Marion County “Player of the Year” honors with a school-record 15 shutouts…tallied an 0.75 GAA to win Team MVP accolades and get named to the FACA All-Star game…recorded 12 shutouts with a career-best 0.67 GAA en route to first team all-area, second team all-state and most valuable defensive players accolades as a junior…As a sophomore, posted an 0.67 GAA and 12 shutouts to earn rookie of the year and second team all-area honors…helped Wildcats to a school record 20-win season and tallied an area record for the lowest GAA (0.35) after half a season…played seven years with his club team, the Ocala Arsenal

Personal: Born July 7, 1998, in Ocala, Fla.….son of Steve and Hope Gilman…has a brother, Robert; and a sister, Katie…uncle, Jack, played golf at Furman before playing on the PGA Tour for four years…father, Steve, played football at Wofford...uncle, Bruce, is in his sixth season as the football defensive coordinator at Vanderbilt University…majoring in biology.
