As a Junior (2007): Played in 17 games including seven starts for the Dolphins…tallied two goals and one assist…scored the game-winning-goal in a double overtime victory over Loyola-Chicago (9/2)…scored the Dolphins’ only goal in a 1-1 tie with Coastal Carolina (9/7) and assisted the game-winning-goal in a 1-0 victory over Stetson (10/14)…averaged almost a shot per game.

As a Sophomore (2006): Saw time in all 19 matches, including 13 starts as a sophomore midfielder…finished third on the team in goals (3) and points (11)…also tied for the team lead in assists with five...recorded assists in three of JU’s first four matches…scored the game-winning goal in a 1-0 win against Belmont (11/3) to send JU to its first A-Sun semifinal since 2002…recorded an assist in consecutive matches at the Wingate Inn Classic (9/15-16)…scored JU's lone goal in a 3-1 loss at Campbell (10/5)…tallied a goal in a 4-0 victory against Lipscomb (10/14).

Prior to JU (2005): Played his freshman year at Thomas University in Thomasville, Ga., under coach Ricky Zambrano.

Englewood High School: Three-year letterwinner at Englewood High School in Jacksonville, Fla…was a high school teammate of former Dolphin Tommy Krizanovic…helped the Rams to two 20-plus win seasons in his junior and senior years…As a senior, earned 3A player of the year honors on the soccer field after helping the Rams to a 23-win season, while also spend time as the kicker on the football team...earned all-conference honors by helping his team to 21 wins in his junior season.

Personal: Born Feb. 7, 1984, in Ouromich, West Azerbyjan, Iran…son of Aliakbar and Afshan…has three older sisters: Neda, Jalleh, and Zihla; and one older brother, Babak...majoring in marketing.
