Men's soccer falls to Campbell 2-1

BUIES CREEK, N.C. - JU men's soccer fell to Campbell, 2-1, Thursday night at the Eakes Athletic Complex.
Dolphins' junior midfielder Philipp Meyner scored his first goal of the season in the 18th minute when his left-footed drive from outside found the upper right hand corner of the net after an assist by junior forward Sebastian Lindholm.
With only 29 seconds remaining before half time the Camels were level after Khalil Johnson finished off a Josue Soto cross to make it 1-1.
Sophomore midfielder Jason Keever's scored his first career goal in the 51st minute to give the Camels the victory. Dolphins' junior goalkeeper Joey Sanchez made one of his three saves on the night on junior midfielder Richard Jata's header, but Keever was right there to capitalize off the rebound.
The Dolphins will be in action again on Saturday, taking on Mercer at 7:00 p.m. in Atlanta, Ga.
