Men's Tennis falls to North Florida 4-3

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. - The Jacksonville men's tennis team dropped a hard fought match against cross town rival North Florida 4-3 on Friday afternoon.

The Ospreys (1-4, 1-0 A-Sun) started off strong by winning the three doubles matches to earn the double's point. The Dolphins (1-2, 0-1 A-Sun) picked up three victories in singles.

No. 1 seed Jordi Ballester knocked off Matias Sigal 6-4, 6-1 and Victor Vaz defeated Javier Ferrin in three sets at the No. 3 singles position 1-6, 6-4, 6-4. Ernesto Ramos also won, defeating Yuiti Lopes 6-2, 6-1 at the No. 4 singles position.

The Dolphins look to bounce back on Saturday, Feb. 10th against FAMU at 10 a.m.
