Men's Tennis defeat FAMU 4-3 in close match

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. - The Jacksonville men's tennis team rallied back after a tough loss against UNF to beat FAMU 4-3 on Saturday.

The Dolphins (2-2, 0-1 A-Sun) came back, after losing the double's point, to win four of the six singles matches.

No. 1 seed Jordi Ballester defeated Artiom Podgainii 6-4, 6-2 and Francisco Riveroll followed suit by defeating Simbarashe Happy at the No. 2 singles position 6-4, 6-2. Ernesto Ramos won at the No. 4 singles position defeating Jarrel Williams 7-5, 6-4 and Marcos Oliveira sealed the victory with a convincing win at the No. 6 singles position defeating Paul Paige 6-0, 6-1.

The Dolphins return to action on Saturday, Feb. 24th against Mercer at 2 p.m.
