Men's Tennis battles Eastern Kentucky, 4-3

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. - The Dolphins (7-4, 1-3 A-Sun) battle the Colonels in singles play, but with the doubles point, get the win. Francisco Riveroll lead the Dolphins, defeating Gratzki, 6-4, 6-3, in No. 2 singles while teaming with Ernesto Ramos in No. 1 doubles to down Kiefer and Itzstein, 8-4.

Ramos went on to defeat Segota, 6-0, 6-1, in No. 4 singles. Vinicius Craveiro and Marcos Oliveira secured the doubles point for the dolphins, defeating Schindler and Gonvalves, 8-5, in the No. 3 spot. JU recorded the winning points as Victor Vaz took on Itzstein, defeating him, 6-2, 6-3.

"We played good doubles and that's what won it for us," said head coach Jarod Camerota. "We keep getting closer to where we want to be, and that is promising."

The Dolphins return to action Wednesday March 14, as the take on Buffalo at 2:00 p.m. at the Keith Watson Family Tennis Complex.
