Men's Tennis defeats Buffalo, 5-1

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. - The Dolphins (8-4, 1-3 A-Sun) defeated Buffalo Wednesday afternoon, 5-1. Upon winning five of six single matches, the Dolphins did not play doubles.

Jordi Ballester took on Rockman in No. 1 singles, 6-4, 6-0, while Victor Vaz defeated Hadisubroto in No. 3 singles, 6-2, 6-1. Ernesto Ramos added another point for the Dolphins, defeating Stane, 6-1, 5-7, 6-2. Vinicius Craveiro secured the win for the Dolphins after taking on Alant in No. 5 singles, 6-3, 6-3, while Marcos Oliveira downed Rothstein, 6-2, 6-1, in the No. 6 spots.

"We still have a lot to improve on in singles play," said head coach Jarod Camerota. "Lafayette will give us an opportunity to make some changes."

The Dolphins return to the court on Saturday, March 17, facing Lafayette at the Keith Watson Family Tennis Complex at 10:00 a.m.
