Men's tennis falls to UCF in regular season finale, 6-1

ORLANDO, Fla. - The JU men's tennis fell 6-1 home at UCF on Saturday in its regular-season finale.

Victor Vaz was the bright spot for the Dolphins, picking up a 0-6, 6-2, 7-6 win in the No. 2 match for the Dolphins only point.

"We played a very good team and this was good preparation for the conference tournament," said JU head coach Shane Wood. "Victor stepped up today and rallied for a big win for us. We're looking forward to a good week of preparation for a run in the tournament."

The Dolphins hit the road on Wednesday for Johnson City, Tenn., for the A-Sun Championship.
