Women's Golf Wins the Butler North/South Intercollegiate

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. - Senior Karen Haggard (Gothenburg, Sweden) finished second overall with a 155, while sophomore Ashley Grier (Hagerstown, Md.) and Winnie Dorminey (Jacksonville/Wolfson) posted sub-160 scores as the Dolphins won the Butler North/South Intercollegiate for the second straight year. JU shot a combined 631, defeating 10 other squads including second-place Bethune-Cookman (636) and third-place Southern Indiana (661).

Grier shot a 156, while Dorminey finished with a 158 total. Junior Pamela Shelley (Alachua, Fla.) finished with a 162, while senior Ulrika Norden (Stockholm, Sweden) rounded out the scoring at 164.

JU competes in the Stetson Hatter Spring Classic on March 21 and 22 in DeLand, Fla.
