Men's and Women's Soccer Sweep TAAC Offensive Player-of-the-Week Honors

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. - Jacksonville University swept TAAC Soccer Offensive Player-of-the-Week honors Monday when the league announced Stine Kloster (Stavanger, Norway) won the women's honors and Mladen Dikic (Lovran, Croatia) earned the honor on the men's side.

Kloster recorded five goals last weekend in the Holiday Inn Express Invitational hosted by Stony Brook and helped the Dolphins to a school-record six straight victories. She had two goals in the Saturday's match versus Belmont (3-0) and three on Sunday's tournament championship game against Buffalo (4-3). Kloster, who was named Tournament MVP, leads the TAAC in goals with nine and is fourth in points with 19.

Dikic, who has scored a goal in each of JU's five matches, posted a pair of game-winning goals in victories over DePaul (3-2 OT) and Central Connecticut State (2-1). He leads the TAAC in goals with five and points with 10.

The women's soccer team returns to action on Friday, Sept. 22 as the Dolphins open TAAC play when they host Georgia State at 4 p.m. at the Ashley Sports Complex. The men travel to Melbourne, Fla. on Thursday, Sept. 21 to take on Florida Tech at 7 p.m.
