Three Jacksonville University women's soccer players scored as the Dolphins defeated Trans America Athletic Conference opponent Campbell 3-1 Thursday afternoon at the Ashley Sports Complex.

With the win, the Dolphins improve their record to 14-1-0 overall and remain undefeated in TAAC play with a 6-0-0 record. The victory extends the Dophins' school-record winning streak to 13 as JU also tied the school record for wins in a season (14) set by the 1998 squad. The loss drops the Fighting Camels to 4-7-1 on the year, 2-3-1 in league play.

Senior forward Stine Kloster (Stavanger, Norway) opened the scoring for the Dolphins at 13:05 in the match with a header off a cross by senior midfielder Dianne Scott (Houston, Texas). Senior forward Marit Foss (Hamresanden, Norway) scored on a penalty kick at 37:29 to put JU up 2-0 at the half.

Freshman defender Hanni Wenzell (Camino, Wash.) added the Dolphins' final goal at the 61:41 mark when she headed in a cross from Foss. The assist was Foss' nation-leading 23rd of the season.

Campbell avoided the shutout when freshman Marisa McEntee scored at 82:01 from 18 yards out.

The Dolphins return to action Sunday, Oct. 15 when they host TAAC opponent Troy State in their final home match of the season at 1 p.m. at the Ashley Sports Complex. JU will honor the record-setting senior class in a pre-game ceremony.
