JACKSONVILLE, Fla. - Kennesaw State rallied from a nine-point deficit in the second half and a four-point deficit in overtime to upset the JU women's basketball team on Saturday in Atlantic Sun Conference play.
Kennesaw State (15-12, 10-4 A-Sun) got a team-high 20 points from Greteya Kelley to lead four Owls in double figures.
The Dolphins (20-6, 10-3 A-Sun) got a game-high 24 points from Virginia Gregoire, hitting 10-of-16 from the floor. Ashley Williams had a double-double, scoring 14 points and 11 rebounds. Reginia Omite added 11 points for JU.
"We let this one slip away from us," said JU head coach Jill Dunn. "We didn't make the plays down the stretch when we needed and they did."

After JU opened the overtime on a 7-1 run, the Owls scored the final nine points of the game, taking the lead for the first time with 35 seconds left, 72-71, on a jumper by Montinique Nixon.
The Dolphins had a chance to retake the lead, but Crystal Grable turned the ball over and KSU's Ashley Johnson hit of 1-of-2 free throws to put the Owls up by two, 73-71 with 20 second left.
JU had one last chance to retake the lead, but Omite's 3-point attempt was off and the Owls hit a pair of free throws to seal the game.
Kelley got assistance from Henderson, who had 14 points and 12 rebounds, while DeAndrea Bulloock had 15 points and Nikki Gurley had 10 - both coming off the bench.
Behind Gregoire's 15 points in the first half, JU went into the locker room with a 31-26 lead at the intermission.
