Keri Zwikker named Player of the Week

JACKSONVILLE, Fla.- - Sophomore Keri Zwikker earned her third accolade this week as she was named Player of the Week, it was announced today by the website. Earlier this week, Zwikker named the Atlantic Sun Conference Offensive Player of the Week and earned Soccer Buzz "Elite team of the week."

Zwikker notched nine goals, two assists and 20 points in three games last week to lead the Dolphins to a 3-0 record. On Sunday, she set a new Dolphins single-game record by scoring five goals against Lipscomb. Zwikker scored the game wining goal against Belmont in a 1-0 victory this past Friday. She opened last week by scoring three goals and recorded an assist against Embry-Riddle in a 7-0 win.

"I can't say how proud I'am of Keri to earn another award," said head coach Chris Kouns. "This award is team honor as well as an individual honor."

Zwikker and the Dolphins (6-6-3, 3-2-1 A-Sun) take on Campbell in a key A-Sun match at 7 p.m. tonight in Buies Creek, N.C. JU currently sits in the fourth place in the A-Sun standings with three games to play.
