JACKSONVILLE, Fla. - Sophomore Keri Zwikker scored her team-leading eighth goal of the season, but Stetson scored twice in the first half to down the Jacksonville University women's soccer team, 2-1, in Atlantic Sun Conference finale at the Ashley Sports Complex on Friday night.

"I'm tremendously proud of the effort we gave in the second half," said JU head coach Chris Kouns. "We will have to get reorganized and do our best against Florida State before hopefully getting a chance to go make some noise in the conference tournament."

Zwikker gave the Dolphins (9-8, 4-5 A-Sun) the early advantage by scoring in the left side of net from a pass by junior Emilie Howland less than minutes into the match.

The Hatters (10-7-1, 7-1-1 A-Sun) evened the match with 17-minutes remaining in the first half when Jessica Spencer broke through the Dolphins defense and laced the ball inside the right post/

Kelsey Kramer added the game-winning goal for the Hatters less than six minutes later after scoring a header on Christina Lovejoy's corner kick.

The Dolphins recorded seven second-half shots, but Hatters' goalie April Eilering made three saves to help secure the win.

Senior Michelle Kmiotek tallied five stops in goal, while seniors Jenny Borschel and Meagan Surrency recorded eight of the 13 Dolphin shots in their final home match.

The Dolphins will watch how the final conference play out on Sunday before seeing if they secure a bid in the A-Sun conference tournament.
