Women's Tennis Falls for the Second Time to Western Michigan, 5-2

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. - Freshman Emese Sulyos (Szolnok, Germany) won at No. 1 singles making her a perfect 18-0, but it wasn't enough as JU lost to Western Michigan, 5-2,for its second loss this season on Sunday afternoon at the Alexander Brest Tennis complex. JU (12-2) won 2-of-6 singles matches.

Sulyos won at No. 1 singles in two sets over Fredenka Girsang, 6-1, 6-3. Sophomore Veronika Subertova (Bratislava, Slovakia) also captured a victory at No.2 singles in two sets over Reedhina Parelch, 6-0, 6-2. The Dolphins took No. 2 doubles as Kim Packer (Adelaibe, Austrila) and Nisrine Hajbane (Casablanca, Morocco) defeated Remynse and Hiranrau, 8-2.

JU will take on Stetson on Saturday, April 3 at 1:00 p.m. in DeLand, Fla.
