Women's golf takes sixth at the Hatter Fall Classic

DeLAND, Fla. - Jessica Green carded a five-over par 77 to lead the JU women's golf team as the Dolphins finished in sixth place at the Hatter Fall Classic to end the fall season.

JU posted a 316 final round to fall from fifth to sixth in the nine-team event, finishing with a 54-hole total of 944.

Stetson won the team title with a final round 295 to finish at 902 for the tournament. Praewnapa Phol-Uayporn of Florida Atlantic won the individual competition after shooting a three-over par 75 to finish at one-over par, 217.

Green's final round propelled her into an 18th place finish individually, finishing at 234, 18-over par.

Heather Fudge had the best individual finish for JU, tying for 12th at 232, 16-over par, after a seven-over par 79 in the final round.

Jessica Williams wrapped up her inaugural fall season as a Dolphin in style, firing a seven-over par 79 to take 31st at 243, 27-over par.

Therese Karlsson shot an 81 in the final round to tie for 32nd at 244. Danielle Gibb shot a 92 in the final round to take 41st.

The Dolphins are done for the fall and will be teeing it up again when the spring season begins in February.
