JACKSONVILLE, Fla. - Junior forward Keri Zwikker was named to the ESPN The Magazine academic all-district first team announced by the College Sports Information Directors of America.

A Woodstock, Ontario native, Zwikker is majoring in exercise science and has a 3.82 cumulative grade point average.

"I am really excited that Keri was awarded this honor," said JU head coach Chris Kouns. "She is an excellent role model for student-athletes and her work in the classroom is every bit as dedicated as her work on the field. I can not think of a more deserving person to represent both Jacksonville University and the Atlantic Sun Conference on the All-Academic 1st team."

Zwikker finished the regular season with 16 goals and 37 points which were both good for a share of first-place in the A-Sun Conference and ranks her in the top 10 nationally.

"I am very excited to receive this honor," said Zwikker. "I am happy that all the hard work that we put in on and off the field is paying off and am honored to be recognized by ESPN The Magazine and I'd like to thank my teammates for all their support."
