JU head coach Kerwin Bell will be joined by the “Voice of the Dolphins” Barry Milligan to preview the season opener at Webber International and talk about the upcoming 2009 campaign.
Joining the show throughout the season will be head coaches from other JU sports, with volleyball coach Shaun Kupferberg coming on to discuss his team’s early start to the season.
As part of Chicago Pizza’s sponsorship, fans purchasing tickets to the game can take those to any Chicago Pizza location to redeem for a free drink.
The JU Insider will air from the Beaches location until the new location, the third in Jacksonville, opens at the Landing in late October.
The show will also be available live on the Internet through 1010XL.com, with the first episode being aired on a tape delay basis on ASun.TV.
DOLPHINS GET DAY OFF: The Dolphins will be taking their mandatory day off on Mondays again this season after a solid performance in Saturday’s final scrimmage of preseason camp. Outside of class, the Dolphins will get a workout in the weight room while also receiving treatment for any of the ailments that have piled up during camp.
“We’ve had a good preseason camp and really made some major strides the last two weeks,” said JU head coach Kerwin Bell. “This group knows that they have to come ready to work on Tuesday, focused on preparing for the game on Saturday.”
