UPDATE: Baseball announces time changes to January pitching clinic
The JU baseball team has announced a time change to the Tim Montez Pitching Clinic on Saturday, Jan. 29 and Sunday, Jan. 30 inside the newly constructed C. Peter Cost Pavilion at John Sessions Stadium.

Due to practice time changes for the JU baseball program on Saturday, Jan. 29, the clinic will open at 2 p.m. and run through 7 p.m. With the Saturday time change, lunch will only be provided for the Sunday, Jan. 30 session from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m.

This camp is designed for players interested in intensified pitching instruction from one of the top pitching coaches in the nation. Entering his 20th year at the Division I level, JU associate head coach Tim Montez will host his annual pitching clinic in the new state-of-the-art hitting and pitching pavilion. This advanced pitching clinic is a perfect tune-up for the upcoming spring season. It will cover all of the drills, and mental training that the Dolphin pitching staff currently goes through. It will also include weight training and special stretching exercises that will foster healthy arm care. There will also be digital video-taping to analyze each pitchers mechanics. This clinic has a limited enrollment to insure that each pitcher receives the individual attention needed to cover the two-day period to improve their game.
