Feb. 11, 2008

TALLAHASSEE, Fla. - Head coach Shane Wood shook up the lineup on Sunday, but it wasn't enough as the JU women's tennis team fell to No. 22 Florida State, 7-0.

The Seminoles (6-0) have yet to lose a match this season, opening the year 50-0 in dual matches as they swept the three doubles and all six singles matches.

"Florida State is a very good team and they showed why on Sunday," Wood said. "We moved some people in the lineup and it was good for everyone to get the experience of playing top-notch competition as we get ready for conference play."

Tatiana Soldatova and Juliana Umeki had the best results for the Dolphins in singles play. Soldatova lost 6-2, 6-4 in the No. 3 match while Umeki fell 6-4, 6-1 in the No. 6 match.

The Dolphins return to the courts on Friday when they host Hofstra at the Keith Watson Family Tennis Complex. First serve is set for 10 a.m.
