Women's tennis knocks off Belmont, 7-0

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. - The JU women's tennis team opened its Atlantic Sun Conference title defense in style on Friday, sweeping Belmont, 7-0.

The Dolphins picked up all three doubles matches and sealed the match with all six singles wins.

"This was a good win, especially to start conference play," said JU head coach Shane Wood. "Everyone stepped up for us and hopefully we can continue to build off of this."

JU returns to the courts on Saturday to face Lipscomb. First serve is set for 1 p.m.
