JACKSONVILLE, Fla. - The JU women's tennis team wrapped up its regular season on Saturday, knocking off Bethune-Cookman 6-1 at the Keith Watson Family Tennis Complex.

Playing the final home match of her career, senior Lena Willi went out in style with a 6-0, 6-0 win in the No. 2 match as the Dolphins (17-4) won their fifth straight match and 13th in their last 14.

"This was a great way to finish the regular season as we get ready for the conference tournament next week," said JU head coach Shane Wood. "I'm glad that Lena was able to finish her career at home with a win in such a dominating fashion. She's been such an important part of our success this season that it was a great way for her to wrap up her collegiate career."

The Dolphins took the doubles point with wins at the No. 1 and 2 positions. In singles play, JU won five of the six matches, forfeiting the No. 6 match as Iva Jaresova missed the match to get some much-needed rest for next week's tournament.

Jacksonville will continue preparations for defending it's A-Sun Tournament title next week, leaving for Johnson City, Tenn. on Wednesday.
