Women’s golf wraps up fall campaign at the Lady Paladin Invitational
With three tournaments in the books, the JU women’s golf team looks to end its roller-coaster fall season on a high note at the Lady Paladin Invitational.

The 39th edition of the event will begin on Friday on the par-72 Furman University Golf Course with a strong field that includes nationally ranked program Chattanooga, Georgia State and Middle Tennessee State.

“We’re looking forward to playing against some really good teams and finishing our fall season on a good note,” said JU assistant coach Jen Poth. “We’ve had two good weeks of practice to work on some things that hurt us our last time out, giving us a little more confidence.”

JU’s lineup is led by junior Morgan Jackson, who is off to the best start of her collegiate career.

Jackson leads the team with a 77.14 stroke average and has posted a top 20 finish in each of the last two events.

Joining her in the lineup is Kristen Boettcher, Melissa Magdor, Meghan Hughes and Jessica Williams.

The Dolphins will tee off at 10:30 a.m. with South Florida and Samford. Fans can follow the event via live scoring through
