Women’s golf finishes 18th at Eagle Landing Invitational
The JU women’s golf team finished 18th at the JMU Eagle Landing Invitational on Sunday.

Melissa Magdor was the low finisher for JU, carding a five-over par, 77, in the final round to lead the Dolphins as well – tying for 62nd at 20-over par.

No. 34 Chattanooga won the 18-team event at five-under par, 859, carding a 10-under par 278 in the final round. Chattanooga’s Christine Wolf won the individual title at seven-under par, carding a four-under par 68 in the final round.

Morgan Jackson tied for 69th for JU at 21-over par, carding a nine-over par 81 in the final round. Kristen Boettcher also shot an 81 in the final round to tie for 79th at 25-over par.

Jessica Williams had an 85 in the final round to finish in 92nd, with Meghan Hughes carding an 87 to finish in 95th place.
