This Week in JU Athletics (Oct. 25-31)
JU women’s soccer player Courtney Conrad was tabbed as the Community First Credit Union “Athlete of the Week” to kick off another edition of This Week in JU Athletics.

This Week in JU Athletics is a weekly feature to give fans the top five items of the week and a full list of all the athletic events so they can cheer the Dolphins on to victory.


Community First Credit Union "Athlete of the Week" - Courtney Conrad:Freshman Courtney Conrad earned Community First Credit Union "Athlete of the Week" honors after scoring the game-winning goal to help the JU women’s soccer team down UNF in overtime, 3-2, on Oct. 22 at Hodges Stadium.
Football hopes to get lucky in Kentucky - The Dolphins will take their six-game winning streak on the road when they head to Kentucky on Saturday to play Morehead State at 2 p.m. JU will look to stay hot offensively after scoring 86 and 56 during the last two wins.
Cross country competes at A-Sun Championships - The JU men’s and women’s cross country teams will compete for the first conference title of the year at the A-Sun Championships on Saturday in Spartanburg, S.C. The women will look to defend their 2009 conference title, while the men look for a solid showing in the meet.
Men’s soccer battles for A-Sun Tourney berth - The men’s soccer team will enter into the final week of play within grasp of an A-Sun Tournament berth. They will play at FGCU on Friday before finishing the schedule on Sunday in DeLand, Fla. against Stetson.

Volleyball heads to Nashville - After a week off from conference play, the Dolphins will dive back into the A-Sun schedule with two key road matches. They will play Belmont on Friday before finishing the week on Saturday at Lipscomb. JU currently sits sixth in the conference standings with a 3-3 record.
