Volleyball falls to Florida A&M, 3-2
Freshman middle blocker Alyssa Robertson tallied season-high’s with 24 kills and a .611 (24-2-36) hitting percentage but the JU volleyball eventually fell to Florida A&M, 3-2 (25-23, 23-25, 25-27, 25-19, 13-15), Saturday afternoon at the Lawson Center.

JU (14-15), hit a match-high .259 hitting percentage but tallied a match-high 18 service errors.

FAMU (9-13) finished with only a .221 hitting percentage but outhit the Dolphins (.353-.350) to pull out the victory.

“We continued to play well on defense and we got our hit but the service errors caught up with us,” said JU head coach Shaun Kupferberg. “It was good to see our passing do well and we are going to need to continue that when we play UNF on Tuesday.”
