JU women’s lacrosse team to face Howard in first-round of NLC Tournament
The first-round matchup for the National Lacrosse Conference Tournament has been set for the JU women’s lacrosse team. The top-seeded Dolphins will face the eighth-seed Howard Bison in the quarterfinal round on Friday, April 29 at 11:30 a.m.

JU (12-4, 7-0) won the conference’s regular season championship and will look to win the first league tournament in the two-year history of the program. The Dolphins defeated the Bison, 22-6, in Washington, D.C. on April 9.

Head coach Mindy McCord’s team dominated conference opponents this season and will look to continue its run in the tournament hosted by Davidson. In seven NLC games, the Dolphins out-scored opponents, 139-51.
