Women’s Rowing announces six signees for 2011-12
After a strong finish to the 2010-11 season, JU head women’s rowing coach Kris Muhl has announced that six student-athletes, spanning four states, will join the program this fall.
“This is one of the largest recruiting classes in recent years and I expect that to continue to be the case in the coming years,” said Muhl. “This group has the all important “mind-set” that will help JU women’s rowing get faster and more competitive. Many of them are of equal or better speed than those currently on the team – which will help push everyone to be their best. That, coupled with continually improving results for the past two years, makes me very optimistic for what is to come for this team.”
