JU teams up with KP Sports to handle corporate sponsorships
The Jacksonville University Athletics family is growing as the Dolphins will be teaming up with KP Sports with a multi-year agreement to handle all of their marketing and corporate partnerships.
KP Sports has created a highly successful practice by partnering with mid-major college programs, delivering outstanding sales results at levels beyond what most companies are capable of delivering.
“We’re very excited about our new partnership with KP Sports,” said JU director of athletics Alan Verlander. “KP Sports has a proven track record of success with schools our size and their sales philosophy is in-line with ours, which is what set them apart in the bid process.”
KP Sports acts as a true extension of the sports program in marketing and selling sponsorship opportunities to targeted businesses on a local, regional and national level. Combining extensive corporate 500 sales and marketing experience with a great passion for sports is what separates KP Sports in delivering results far beyond what other companies are capable of delivering.
The bid process started three months ago, with KP Sports winning the bid over Nelligan Sports Marketing and ISP Sports.
“With the tremendous amount of success that the athletic programs at JU have achieved the past few years, we’re excited to be coming on board and helping build relationships with corporate community,” said KP Sports President Kerry Perry. “We look forward to enhancing and building on the successes the JU athletic programs have achieved in the past few years.”
