This Week in JU Athletics (Mar. 28-Apr. 3)
JU men’s lacrosse player TJ Kenary was tabbed as the Community First Credit Union “Athlete of the Week” to kick off the next edition of This Week in JU Athletics.

This Week in JU Athletics is a weekly feature to give fans the top five items of the week and a full list of all the athletic events so they can cheer the Dolphins on to victory.

Community First Credit Union "Athlete of the Week" - TJ Kenary: Sophomore men’s lacrosse player TJ Kenary was named the Community First Credit Union "Athlete of the Week" after scoring two goals on six shots with three ground balls to help lead the Dolphins to a MAAC victory over Detroit-Mercy. Kenary’s second goal in the third quarter put JU within one of the Titans, jump-starting JU’s come-from-behind victory to move the Dolphins to 2-0 in conference play.
Baseball looks to turn corner - The Dolphins look to start a good streak this week after dropping a series to Lipscomb. JU hosts Georgia Southern tomorrow at 6:30 p.m. before heading to Nashville for a three-game set at Belmont starting on Friday.
Lacrosse hopes to stay hot in conference play - Both lacrosse teams are making a statement in conference play after each opening the year with a 2-0 start. The women host Liberty at D.B. Milne Field on Friday at 4 p.m. before closing on Sunday against Longwood at noon. The men travel to New York on Saturday to play Manhattan.
Softball becomes road warriors- The Dolphins will get use to life on the road over the next three weeks with 13 of their next 15 contests being away from the JU Softball Complex. The road trip starts tomorrow in Statesboro, Ga. with a doubleheader against Georgia Southern at 3 p.m. They face ETSU on Friday in Johnson City, Tenn. , while rounding out the trip the next day at USC Upstate.

Track & field has final tune up on Friday - The Dolphins round out their regular season schedule with the prestigious Pepsi Florida Relays starting Friday. JU is looking to build off the solid meet in Orlando last weekend before competing in the A-Sun Championships on April 15.
