THE LIFE OF A RUNNING DOLPHIN: We win together, we lose together…
I hate losing. I hate it with a passion. UNF put up a great effort and deserved the win, but it hurt watching them raise the trophy. We had a chance of winning, yet we didn't grasp it full-heartedly and it slipped away. Saturday was a grey day that I would like to put it behind me as fast as possible, I have played the race over and over in my head, but I've started to realize it's a waste of energy. The race is over and it's time to look ahead and move on.

Coach has decided to bring three athletes into post-season action as Joanne (Pierre), Bailee (Hedstrom) and I are heading to Birmingham, Ala. in 12 days for South Regionals. I am excited to race a fast 6k and hopefully see myself and my team mates putting up good times and possibly break some records.

We will this week go back to regular competition training with today's long run; k-repeats on Wednesday and a maintenance session Friday before having a relaxing weekend with mileage runs.

I want to wish the soccer teams the best of luck as they go into their conference tournaments, we will be here cheering on the women as they play on home-turf.

Go Phins!
