The Freshman 8, David Waugh at coxswain with Tim Easterling, Matt Thomas, Drew Allen, Jacob Strauss, Chris Morgan, Jacob Motes, Stephen Marra and Shawn Macklefresh crewing, launches at 10:45 a.m. and the Richards boat gets a second race at 11 a.m., this time against the Columbia Heavyweights.
“We are looking forward to another week of high-level racing to gauge our improvements over last week,’’ coach Jim Mitchell said. “Columbia is consistently a top-level team in Heavyweight and Lightweight men’s rowing so we will have to race out best to compete.
This weekend’s racing should be agood start to our Spring Break Training Camp.’’
The Fellsmere course is in southern Brevard County where it meets Indian River County.
