Hannon wins NLC award again
For the second time in three weeks, JU women’s lacrosse player Rachel Hannon has been named the National Lacrosse Conference Defensive Player of the Week.

Hannon, from Annapolis, Md., scored one goal, scooped one groundball, and caused two turnovers against Presbyterian Saturday in the final regular season game for the Dolphins.

In addition, the defender set a school record with 13 draw controls in a game and now has 104 for the season, another school record. Her season total is second in all of Division I this season.

Her goal against the Blue Hose was her fourth of the season which is a career high beating her previous best set in 2010.
