Late rally falls shorts as Dolphins lose to Seminoles 9-7
The game was delayed 24 hours by a weather front that moved through Tallahassee on Tuesday after noon, but the real storm came through when the Seminoles exploded for seven runs in the bottom half of the fourth inning.

After two quick outs in the top half of the fourth inning Josh Baker (Sussez, Wisc.) gave up back to back walks that were followed by a base clearing double that opened the floodgates for the ninth ranked Seminoles. The Seminoles finished the fourth inning with seven runs on four hits and a costly Dolphin error.

Zach Gordon (St. Petersburg, Fla.) allowed two runs on three hits in three innings of work. Baker followed going 2/3 of an inning recording the loss for the Dolphins.

Dolphin relievers, Will Flor (Bloomington, Minn.), Adam Maxon (Oviedo, Fla.) and Corben Madden (Orlando, Fla.) combined to go the final four innings not allowing a run while striking out five.

The Dolphins rallied scoring two runs in the top of the eight on a singles by Drew Luther (Fullerton, Ca.) and Kris Molter (Jacksonville, Fla.) and followed it up with five runs on one hit and two Seminole errors in the top of the ninth.

The Dolphins will be back in action at John Sessions Stadium at 6:30pm on Friday against the Richmond Spiders.
