Going pitch for pitch with one of the most dominant pitchers in the NCAA, Chris Anderson (Lino Lakes, Minn.) lead the Dolphins to an exciting 5-3 win over the TCU Horned Frogs at John Sessions stadium.
The JU Dolphins baseball team has been plagued by the big inning all year. Tonight the Dolphins returned the favor to the TCU Horned Frogs.
Already leading 1-0 on a Dylan Dillard (Kissimmee, Fla.) solo home run in the bottom half of the first inning. The Dolphins sent eight men to the plate in the second inning highlighted by an Alex McRae (West Allis, Wisc.) double that scored two Dolphins and a towering home run by Brady North (Tampa, Fla.) that scored McRae and put the Dolphins up 5-0.
That was all that Chris Anderson (Lino Lakes, Minn.) would need. Anderson struck out 13 Horned Frogs and only allowed one earned run in a complete game victory. “He had control of his pitches and battled all the way to the end,” said Head Coach Terry Alexander. “
