Sophomore Jessica Welch shot a three-over par 74 each round to pace the Dolphins and finish 16th overall.
“We played very well at times,” JU head coach Jennifer Borocz said. “Each of our players had at least one good round so that is something we can definitely build on for the upcoming tournaments. We look forward to getting back on one of our home courses in two weeks.”
Sophomore Natalie Schmett and senior Gaia Olcese were the next highest finishers for JU after placing 35th overall. Schmett carded a 75 in the final two rounds, while Olcese shot a team-best 73 in the final round.
Christina Paulsen (78th) and Carlie Gehlhausen (82nd) rounded out the rest of the group.
The Dolphins will be back in action when they will host the JU Courtyard Classic starting Oct. 15 at Hidden Hills Country Club.
