JU quarterback Kade Bell has joined the Jerry Rice Award Watch List, The Sports Network announced Thursday.
Bell, from Fleming Island, Fla., has been steady throughout the season since winning the starting job.
In his first seven starts, the redshirt freshman has completed 104-of-173 passes for 1,379 yards with 12 touchdowns and five interceptions. He had five total touchdowns (four passing, one rushing) in a win over Morehead State.
