KENNESAW, Ga. -- The Jacksonville University men’s golf team posted a three-round total of 68-over par 932 to finish 10th at the Pinetree Intercollegiate
The Dolphins were led by sophomore Nick Torrance who finished tied for 15th after posting a final round 80 at the par-72, 7,108-yard Pinetree Country Club north of Atlanta. Torrance started the day tied for 6th over at 146 (73-73).
Senior Jamey Salmon tied for 34th after posting an 11-over par 83 to finish at 231.Freshman Cyril Suk finished day two with a 78 the lowest round of the day for the Dolphins. Rounding out the Dolphins’ scores were sophomore Brett McKinnon who shot an 84 to finish tied for 52nd and Trey Douglas who finished with a 90 on the day.
The field at this week’s tournament included 12 teams: Kennesaw State, Florida Gulf Coast, Gardner-Webb, Louisiana Tech, Middle Tennessee, Samford, Ball State, South Alabama, Troy, Marquette and Northern Illinois.
