Marsh, Pimienta grab PFL academic honors
A pair of defensive players on the JU football team have been named to the second team of the Pioneer Football League Academic All-PFL team.

Linebacker Taylor Marsh and defensive lineman Juan Pimienta both were named to the team Wednesday. Marsh, a senior linebacker from Jupiter, Fla., has a cumulative 3.53 grade point average in accounting. He finished the season with 46 tackles (20 solo, 26 assists), four for losses. He also had a sack and fumble recovery.

Pimienta, a junior from Apopka, Fla., is majoring in sociology and carries a 3.05 GPA. He led the league in sacks with eight and had 12.5 tackles for losses, also the league high. In addition, he forced two fumbles and recovered two. Earlier this week he was named to the All-PFL first team.
