    Jacksonville (8-10; 3-2) aims to keep momentum going at Veterans Memorial Arena on Saturday afternoon against Mercer (2-13; 1-2). The Dolphins enter the afternoon just one game out of first place amongst a crowded Atlantic Sun leaderboard.
    JU continued it’s VMA magic on Thursday night producing an epic 99-92 triple overtime win over Kennesaw State.  The win snapped a two game skid for the Dolphins while improving them to 5-1 in the downtown arena this season.
    Junior Keith McDougald is coming off his best game of the season on Thursday.  McDougald paced three JU players with a double-double by producing a season high 25 points and a career best 13 rebounds.  Not only did he tie the game at the end of regulation with a key three-pointer, he scored five of JU’s 13 points in the decisive third OT session.  He is averaging 14.0 ppg during A-Sun play this season.  
    Mercer is coming off a 66-47 win at North Florida on Thursday.  The Bears only loss in the last five game was to Kennesaw State on Jan. 5.    Travis Smith leads the team with 12.6 ppg.
