Dolphins shut out by TCU 10-0
The JU Dolphins (4-6) ran into one of the top sophomore prospects in college baseball on a brisk Saturday afternoon at John Sessions Stadium.

Sophomore Preston Morrison (1-1) was in complete control from the start as he only faced two batters over the minimum in eight innings pitched. Morrison allowed five hits, walked no one and coaxed the Dolphins into three double plays.

Alex McRae (West Allis, Wisc.) started for the Dolphins going 5 1/3 innings and allowing eight runs all of which were earned. McRae was victimized by a wind blown triple to centerfield that allowed two runs to score in top half of the second inning. The loss evened McRae’s record at (1-1).

The Horned frogs (2-7) scored a single run in the top half of the fourth inning when Boomer White homered to left. The big blow came in the top half of the sixth when Jantzen Witte hit a grand slam to left field.

The Dolphins were led offensively by Nathan Koslowski (Jacksonville, Fla.) who finished two for three on the day with a pair of singles. Zack Howck (Orange Park, Fla.) Garrett Ruckle (Jacksonville, Fla.) and Scott Schaub (Ocala, Fla.) all added singles for the Dolphins.
