Dolphins looking for six straight win on D.B. Milne Field

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. – The Jacksonville men’s lacrosse team welcomes Marquette to D.B. Milne Field this Saturday at 1:00 p.m.

The Dolphins (1-2) are coming off a dramatic 9-8 win over High Point last Saturday when Ari Waffle scored on a pass from James Trentini with 24 seconds left. Waffle, who is second on the team with four goals this season, is one of 10 JU players to have scored a goal this year.

The Dolphins have had success on D.B. Milne Field winning five straight dating back to last season.

A first year program, Marquette (1-1) is coming of its first-ever win, an 8-6 decision at Air Force last Saturday.  The Golden Eagles opened the season with an 18-8 loss at Ohio State.

Following today’s action, JU returns home on Tuesday at 2:00 pm against Robert Morris.
