Men’s Lacrosse Looks To Remain Perfect in the MAAC On Saturday
Dolphins host Detroit at 1:00 om D.B. Milne Field looking for a 3-0 MAAC start

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. – The Jacksonville men’s lacrosse plays host to Detroit at D.B. Milne Field this Saturday at 1:00 p.m. The Dolphins are looking to improve on a 2-0 start and maintain their share of the Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference lead.

JU (4-3) has won four of the last five and moved over .500 for the first time in program history following a 10-7 win at Manhattan last Saturday. The win also moved the Dolphins into a first place tie with Marist on top of the MAAC standings at 2-0.

Five different players have at least 10 points this season for JU including junior Conor Igoe (Columbus, Ohio) who tallied three goals and added an assist in the win over Manhattan last weekend.

Detroit (1-6) is coming off an 11-6 win over VMI last Saturday. The Titans won last year’s meeting 8-7 in Michigan, while the Dolphins posted a 10-8 victory in 2011 in Florida.
