Men’s Lacrosse Closes Out Regular Season At Future League Foe Mercer On Saturday

Dolphins looking to build momentum heading into next week's MAAC Tournament

– The Jacksonville men’s lacrosse team closes out the 2013 regular season on Saturday by traveling to Mercer for a 1:00 pm non-conference game in The Tony and Nancy Moye Football and Lacrosse Complex. The match-up is a serves as a warm-up for the two programs which will both be joining the Atlantic Sun Conference’s newly formed men’s lacrosse league next season.

The Dolphins (7-4) have already locked up the No. 2 seed in the Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference Tournament next week by posting a 5-1 record during league play in the team's final season in the league. Jacksonville has won five of their last six matches overall and is coming off an 11-10 win at Canisius last Saturday that improved the squad to 3-1 on the road this season with the lone loss coming at No. 6 Duke.

Mercer (4-7) is coming off a 16-8 win at VMI.
