Dolphins Look to Push Win Streak to Double Digits as They Host Stetson

The JU softball team will put its nine-game winning streak on the line when it hosts the Stetson Hatters for a doubleheader Wednesday night at the JU Softball Complex.

The Dolphins (30-10, 11-3 A-Sun) have been playing their best ball of the season winning their last nine in a row and 15 out of their last 17 games and currently sit in second place in the A-Sun.  With its sweep of Northern Kentucky over the weekend, JU has won at least 30 games for the fourth consecutive season.

The Hatters (20-16, 3-9 A-Sun) were swept in a three-game series last weekend at first place USC Upstate and sit in eighth place in the conference.

The two teams split their meetings last season with each team winning a game.  In the all-time series, Stetson holds the overall edge with a 17-6 record.

It will be Margaritaville night at the complex where fans can enjoy free non-alcoholic margaritas and pizza.  First pitch of game one is scheduled for 5 p.m.
